This isn't working anymore for either of us.
The time has come to try a different approach for the breakdown podcasts and in this episode I lay out what the future will look like here for the podcast and hopefully how it will be an improvement over the current system.
For 10 years now we have run the breakdowns through the same format but times change and tastes evolve and so this is my attempt at creating a formula that will be more conducive to you getting the most you can from the content I share.
If you can't be bothered listening to the whole podcast the future of the breakdowns will look something like this:
On the week's we do a breakdown episode I will release a podcast laying out all of the details I don't normally discuss in the breakdown podcasts up until now and the lighting and framing content will now be done in video format over on The Wander DP YouTube Channel.
This is an experiment to try and make the content better. If it works great, if not, I will come up with another solution.
So for now (starting with next week's episode) the breakdowns will still happen on the podcast but will mostly focus on the prep period, the tech scout, and the general duties that move the needle before the actual shoot day while the breakdown videos on YouTube will show the end results.
