This notice explains measurement for Wandering DP’s Mastering Exposure campaign.
Campaign sales records
When you follow one of our registered campaign links, enrolment links on that page lead to a separate, identically priced Teachable checkout plan. We use the plan recorded on paid orders to count campaign-linked sales and refunds. This works without Meta tracking or an advertising cookie. The link carries a shared campaign and ad label, not a unique visitor identifier. The separate first-party measurement described below can retain a campaign visit across courses and later visits in the same browser for up to seven days.
These records identify the checkout route used. They do not prove an ad caused a purchase. A shared link may be used by someone else, and a later visit without the campaign link or a purchase on another device may not retain its source.
First-party campaign sales measurement
For visitors whose network location is identified as the United States, we also connect a registered campaign visit with purchases across our courses, bundles and checkout add-ons. A first-party cookie holds a random identifier for up to seven days. Our private records hold the campaign label, ad label and visit time. When you reach a supported signed-in Teachable page, we use a hashed version of the email address already associated with your account to match that visit with paid orders and refunds. You do not need to enter anything extra.
Wandering DP holds these attribution records on its privately managed server in the United States, with access limited to authorised business operators and service providers maintaining it. This feature does not send your email hash or individual purchase journey to Meta, Google Analytics or another advertising service. We do not collect payment details, form entries or browsing outside Wandering DP. Browser identifiers and visit records are retained for up to 90 days. Source labels on verified sales are kept with our purchase records for business accounting.
This optional measurement stays off outside the United States or when we cannot establish location. We honour Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track and existing measurement declines on this website. Turning it off stops future collection and removes its browser identifier; a preference cookie remembers that choice for up to one year. It does not prevent course access or purchases and does not subscribe you to emails. Teachable’s own controls remain separate.
Privacy tools, missing account information, another browser or device, and cleared cookies can leave the source unknown. A recorded campaign link can also be shared, so a source match does not establish that an ad caused a sale. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions, use our contact page.
Meta measurement and your choices
On this course page, visitors whose network location is identified as the United States receive notice and an option to turn off Meta advertising measurement. No acceptance click is required to use the page. Outside the United States, or when the location cannot be established, this page’s optional Meta measurement stays off.
Use “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” on the course page to turn off this page’s Meta measurement. We honour previous declines, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. An opt-out takes effect in this browser immediately and is remembered using a preference cookie for up to one year and browser storage until cleared. Withdrawing permission stops subsequent measurement by this code; it cannot recall information already sent. The checkout route and your ability to buy stay available.
When active, the Meta Pixel sends page-view, course-view and enrolment-click events to Meta. Meta receives technical information such as your IP address, browser information and cookie identifiers, and may associate the activity with your Facebook or Instagram account. We do not send form entries through this page’s advertising code.
We estimate country on our server using a local database. We do not send your IP address to its publisher. Country estimates can be inaccurate, including when a VPN is used. IP geolocation by DB-IP, using DB-IP Lite October 2026 data under CC BY 4.0, reduced to US ranges.
Teachable checkout
Teachable operates our course checkout and student platform. Its own privacy notice and cookie controls apply there, separately from this website’s opt-out. Our native Meta Pixel and Conversions API integration can send checkout and purchase activity and customer-matching information to Meta across the school. Teachable controls the checkout consent interface. Declining its advertising cookies can reduce the information available to advertising platforms.
Your Teachable order and refund records still let us reconcile sales on the campaign checkout plan independently of Meta’s reports. No payment is classified as a campaign sale solely because Meta reports a Purchase event.
Other services and questions
The site also uses Google Analytics for website analytics. Requested Framework PDFs and email subscriptions use Kit. The course-page advertising opt-out applies to the Meta code described above; it does not change those separate services or subscribe you to email.
