Framework journey privacy

When you request the Framework PDF, we may connect how you arrived, its file delivery, your email-link clicks, visits and link clicks on Wandering DP and its course school with that request and any later course purchase. This helps us understand which lessons and pages people use before buying.

What we record

Before a PDF request, we may keep the first public page you visited in the current browser tab, its time, selected campaign labels and a broad referring-source category, such as YouTube or Google. This stays in that tab for up to 24 hours and is sent to our journey records only after an eligible PDF request. It contains no unique visitor identifier, full referring URL or pre-request browsing history. Closing the tab or clearing its storage can remove it.

For visitors whose network location is identified as Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland or the United States, we use a first-party cookie after a successful PDF request. It contains a random identifier and lasts for up to 30 days. Our private records connect it with the email address you already supplied. We record public page paths, course-map selections and buttons, supported video-play actions, PDF-link clicks and course-checkout clicks. On supported Teachable pages, the same browser can continue the journey through course pages and previews. Where Teachable supplies a signed-in email, we compare its cryptographic hash with your request to stop a mismatched account being joined. The browser tracker does not capture lesson content, checkout fields or payment details. A failed event upload may stay in the current tab for up to 24 hours while we retry it, using the same event ID to prevent duplicates. We match a purchase only when its checkout email address matches the PDF request.

Wandering DP collects and holds these records on its privately managed server in the United States. Access is limited to authorised business operators and service providers maintaining that server. This feature does not send your email address or individual journey to Google Analytics, Meta or another advertising service. It does not record form contents, payment details, private preference links, raw URL query strings or what you type. The only query values kept are selected campaign and placement labels and course product IDs; advertiser click IDs are excluded. We keep the journey records for up to 90 days. Our existing subscription and purchase records have their own purposes and are separate.

Our private reports also bring together the subscription and course records already held for your account: approved email sequence completion, recorded lesson and course completion, purchases and refunds. A course completion mark does not prove that you watched a whole video or mastered the material. We distinguish those account records from optional browser measurement. Selected links in our teaching emails pass through a fixed Wandering DP address before reaching the same destination. The link contains no recipient identifier. We connect the request with an existing eligible journey only under the choices below; known scanners and prefetches are excluded, but other automated requests may remain. We may compare two presentations of an existing preview link for eligible visitors, recording which version was displayed and whether a later preview click or purchase was observed.

Your choice

These arrival-source and journey features stay off outside those seven countries and regions or when we cannot establish the country. We honour Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track and previous measurement declines recorded by this website. You can turn it off in this browser below. Your PDF access, emails and ability to buy remain available.

Turning it off stops future collection and removes the journey cookie, saved arrival source and queued events in the current tab. A preference cookie remembers the choice for up to one year; a browser-storage preference remains until cleared. This does not erase information already recorded. For access to your information, a correction or deletion request, or a question about this measurement, contact Wandering DP’s privacy contact at hello@wanderingdp.com.

Why we use this information

We use this limited history to understand which website resources lead from a PDF request to a course purchase and to improve those resources. In Singapore, we rely on the PDPA’s legitimate interests exception for this collection and use. We have assessed the benefits and privacy effects, restricted what we collect and made measurement optional. This does not authorise additional marketing messages or sharing your journey with advertisers.

Limits and other services

A recorded click does not tell us whether you read a PDF or watched a whole video. Our download route records whether the server sent the complete file, including the delivery time and byte count. This does not prove that you saved or read it. We connect that delivery to the latest eligible PDF request in the same browser only under the choices and country limits above. Otherwise, it contributes to an unattributed transfer count. The transfer log contains no IP address, raw browser user agent, email address or URL query string and is kept for up to 90 days. Teachable pages that do not load school scripts, including its SSO login and SSO checkout, remain outside this history. Another device, a different checkout email, cleared cookies and privacy tools can leave gaps. A missing referring source remains unknown; a purchase does not prove which resource caused it. We do not use fingerprinting to fill them.

Kit provides the confirmation email. Its button can deliver the PDF through Wandering DP; older links and the fallback file remain hosted by Kit. Teachable provides checkout and course access. Their own records and controls are separate. See our advertising privacy notice for the site’s existing Google Analytics and Meta measurement.
