I really enjoyed the look of this series and it was a great to get to hear from Florian how they managed to capture what they did. Lots of great insights into working with different crews and directors and managing challenging scenarios on set.

Advanced Cinematography: Location Lighting

I told you a new course was coming and it's finally here.

It has been awesome hearing feedback from everyone that has already sped through the content and I am excited it has been as well received as it has.

In the new course I introduce my method for approaching cinematography from the most basic level and lay out each decision along the way. When I think about the work I break every possible scenario into one of 5 buckets and go from there.

Doing so allows me to focus more time on what I can do and less on what is not as effective. In this latest course we go over one of these 5 scenarios and I explain how I use a system to allow me to deliver the best results.
