A little something different for the regular listeners of the show.

We had planned to sit down with the VFX Supervisor of the crazy DIY Volume LED thing that has been all the rage over on instagram this week but alas our plans we thrown out last minute.

Instead this week I started doing the breakdown for Moneyball for the Patreon community but thought with the length and size it might be nice to open it up this week and show the good folks out there what sort of things the Feature Film Breakdowns are covering.

Hopefully you are able to pull some gems out of the great cinematography work by Wall Pfister A.S.C. on this film.  It is always one of my go to examples for what a bit of style can do for a film.

Enjoy!

Patreon Podcast - A Star is Hot

To contrast the main breakdown this week I decided to take a look at something a bit different over on Patreon.

This week we look at A Star is Born shot by Matthew Libatique A.S.C. and nominated for a 2019 Oscar for Best Cinematography.

A very interesting visual approach and we dive in to some of the choices and how they pushed a the boundaries on this one.
