As expected last week's episode was a massive success and this week we are wrapping up the 2022 Cinematography Survey.

Lots of interesting information shared by all of the people that took part. Some of the answers were funny, others scary, and a few actually made sense. Thanks again to everyone that took tie out to participate and hopefully we can build on these results in the future.

A Cinematography System: The Playbook Approach

I told you a new course was coming and it's finally here.

It has been awesome hearing feedback from everyone that has already sped through the content and I am excited it has been as well received as it has.

In the new course I introduce my method for approaching cinematography from the most basic level and lay out each decision along the way. When I think about the work I break every possible scenario into one of 5 buckets and go from there.

Doing so allows me to focus more time on what I can do and less on what is not as effective. In this latest course we go over one of these 5 scenarios and I explain how I use a system to allow me to deliver the best results.
