2. The Point of Control

The Foundation of the Framework:

Upstage Lighting is important but it isn't really where the Framework begins.

Identifying the Point of Control is essential if you want to light efficiently and incorporate elements of the Framework.

The P.O.C. in broad terms is identifying what it is inside the frame that you have the least control over.

Once you have established the P.O.C. you can then start to build in the required elements to make sure you are able to achieve your vision for a shot or scene.
